Individual Therapy

The goal of individual therapy is to help you feel and live better by exploring and understanding yourself. I can help you replace unhealthy coping strategies and increase self-awareness and acceptance. Ultimately the goal is for you to feel more satisfied in life and have an overall sense of well-being.

Through psychodynamic or psychoanalytic therapy, together we will identify what motivates your behavior and understand why you do what you do. I teach skills that help you cope with a variety of life’s challenges, like relationship issues, stress, depression, trauma, anxiety, etc. Individual sessions last 50 minutes. Some clients remain in therapy for many weeks. Others continue for many years.
